Understanding the Godforge Tier List

2026-03-11

Why Data-Driven Rankings?

Most tier lists in gaming communities are based on personal opinion, popularity, or content creator preferences. The danmanreal.com tier list takes a different approach — every hero is scored by a 4-pillar engine that evaluates objective, measurable factors.

This does not mean opinion is irrelevant. But by starting from data, we eliminate bias and give every hero a fair baseline score before any subjective adjustments are made.

The 4-Pillar Scoring Engine

Each hero is evaluated across four pillars, each weighted differently depending on the game mode:

Stats Pillar — Evaluates raw stat totals (HP, ATK, DEF, SPD) relative to the hero pool. Heroes with higher base stats get a natural advantage, but stats alone do not determine tier placement.

Damage Pillar — Measures damage output potential including ability multipliers, scaling coefficients, and attack patterns. A hero with average stats but exceptional ability multipliers can score well here.

Mechanics Pillar — Scores the tactical value of a hero's kit: crowd control, buff stripping, turn manipulation, revival, damage sharing, and other mechanics that influence battle outcomes.

Utility Pillar — Evaluates the breadth of a hero's usefulness: how many game modes they excel in, whether they provide leader bonuses, and how flexible they are across different team compositions.

Per-Mode Weighting

The four pillars are weighted differently for each game mode because what matters in PvP is not the same as what matters in a Boss raid:

PvE (Campaign/Hunt) — Weights favor sustained damage and survivability. Heroes who can self-heal or apply consistent DPS score higher.

PvP (Arena) — Speed and control mechanics are weighted heavily. A hero that moves first and disables the enemy team is more valuable than a slow tank.

Boss (Raids) — Single-target damage and debuff uptime are prioritized. Bosses are immune to many control effects, so raw damage output matters most.

Overall — A balanced composite that gives equal consideration to all three modes, useful for identifying generally strong heroes.

How to Read the Tier List

Visit the tier list and select a game mode to see rankings tailored to that content. Use the filter sidebar to narrow by faction, rarity, archetype, or specific mechanics.

Tiers range from S (the best) through A, B, C, D, to F. The composite score determines placement, but remember that team composition and synergy often matter more than individual hero tier.

The "Copy Link" button lets you share any filtered view — send your PvP-only Legendary tier list directly to a teammate.
