DMR_REMOTE
DMR_REMOTE gives a compatible AI client tools to work on your own computer: read and edit files, run commands, follow jobs and inspect the results. You choose the workspace and the agents you trust.
Workshop Access includes the customer download and updates. Sign in, subscribe, download the bundle and activate your device. The setup guide connects your own AI client to your installation.
Who it helps
- People using AI coding clients who want file and command tools on their own computer
- People who want to track longer jobs and inspect what an agent changed
What you can do
- Read, search, create and edit files in a workspace you select.
- Run commands, follow jobs across client reconnects and inspect their output.
- Prepare file changes in a Work Capsule, then publish them when you are ready.
- Add isolated browser sessions with the optional browser installation.
Good to know
- The bundle runs on Linux x64 or Windows 11 x64 through Ubuntu WSL2, with Python 3.10 or newer. It requires an active subscription and internet access.
- Bring your own compatible AI account. ChatGPT web needs custom-connection access and your own HTTPS tunnel; AI fees and tunnel hosting are separate.
- Live desktop, Chrome and audio tools need a separate LCU installation. The agent coordination shown in the episode also needs a separate service that is not bundled.
- Commands run with your computer account’s permissions, including outside the selected workspace. Connect only agents you authorize to act as you.
